Murl ?EUR??,,????'??Jerry?EUR??,,????'?? G. Hockenberry, 70, of Blakeslee, Pa., passed away March 30, 2005 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
?Born in Trenton, N.J., Mr. Hockenberry resided in Newtown, Pa. and Cherry Hill, N.J. before moving to Blakeslee, Pa. in 1998. He graduated from Penn State University in 1960 with a degree in landscape architecture. Carol, his beloved wife of 37 years, told LASN her husband was always grateful for his education and attributed his success to what he accomplished at Penn. Prior to his passing, Mr. Hockenberry established a charitable trust for the university.

Mr. Hockenberry worked with the Bucks County Planning Commission for many years in site planning; before that he worded as a regional planner for the U.S. Navy in Boston and Philadelphia.

Mr. Hockenberry enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and was a former communicant of the Church of St. Andrew.

Son of the late Murl and Helen M. Hottinger Hockenberry, brother of the late James Hockenberry, he is survived by Carol, his sister Marlene, and two nieces and two nephews.
