Scott Talbot, 55, of Beaverton, Ore., the landscape architect and development manager for Hillsboro Parks and Recreation for 17 years, passed away July 7, 2005 after a year-long battle with lymphoma. He leaves behind wife, Barb, son, Tony, and daughter, Stacy, sister, Susan and a brother, Bill. His landscape legacy is the 16 Hillsboro parks he worked on during his tenure, developing green spaces and trails.
Mr. Talbot was born in Oregon City, graduated from Clackamas High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University. In 1970, he married Barb.
Mr. Talbot was known for his gentle disposition, dependability and laugh. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling to Hawaii and skiing.
