Minnesota Seeks Enhanced License Enforcement

 

The Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association Government Affairs Committee and Irrigation Committee are working with the state Electrical Licensing and Inspection unit to improve enforcement of Power Limited Technician and Technology System Contractor licenses. MNLA expects favorable legislation will be introduced by the state?EUR??,,????'???s Department of Labor and Industry. Currently Minnesota law requires these licenses to perform low voltage electrical work associated with irrigation system installation. Increased enforcement should lead to increased compliance.
