Mindel Scott is a Louisville, Kentucky based multi-disciplinary consulting firm specializing in site civil engineering, landscape architecture, planning, surveying and utility coordination. Mindel Scott was founded in 1994 by David Mindel, PE and Steve Scott, PE, but changed ownership to Amanda Smith, PE and Kent Gootee, PLA in early 2021. They are now pursuing designation as a Woman Business Enterprise.

Lynn Family Stadium Grounds

On the Louisville City FC Lynn Family Stadium project, Mindel Scott was the local consulting firm on a team of consultants from across the U.S. Mindel Scott participated in the design and engineering of the surrounding grounds as well as landscape design and masterplan of the immediate vicinity. The project also includes a playground and futsal field. The Lynn Family Stadium is now home to the USL championship caliber team Louisville City FC and the National Women's Soccer League's Racing Louisville FC; each of which draws thousands to the downtown Louisville and Butchertown areas. The Lynn Family Stadium project was named a top commercial deal in the Louisville area.

Bourbon 1 Logistics Center
Bourbon 1 Logistics Center is a 1,000,000+ s.f. warehouse located in Bullitt County, Kentucky. With close proximity to Interstate 65, the massive project shows another side of landscape architecture, planning and engineering; creating a space that provides jobs and the opportunity for economic growth.

Victory Knoll Apartments
Victory Knoll is a 470-unit luxury apartment community in Middletown, Kentucky. The community has available garage parking, a fitness center, on-site clubhouse, and a resort style swimming pool with cabanas. Victory Knoll also boasts a signature entrance, car-charging stations, a dog park, pet spa, grilling stations and walking paths throughout the community with a focus on accessibility. The landscape architecture and planning of Victory Knoll provides a high-density alternative to the single-family residences of Metro Louisville.

Oakland Hills Subdivision
A 592-lot subdivision located in Louisville, Kentucky that is currently in the design process. Oakland Hills is adjacent to Broad Run Park of the Parklands of Floyds Fork system; a visitor-supported public park providing park access along Louisville's famous Floyd's Fork blueway. During the planning phase a natural resource survey was conducted to identify and protect environmentally sensitive features such as Kentucky Glade Cress, karst features, steep slopes, waterways, and wildlife habitat. This design was the winner of a multi-firm submittal competition and features several home sizes and includes amenities such as walking and hiking trails.
