  • Can save $10 million in annual energy costs.
  • Can remove 2,240,000 pounds of air pollutants, saving $23
million per year in air pollution clean up costs as well as the cost of planting one million trees.
  • Can capture 1.9 billion gallons of storm water per year, which decreases both polluted runoff and soil erosion and would save $5 million in annual storm water runoff costs. There are many more advantages to the project.

What we now are looking for is a group of volunteers to help us at our various events. They will join us in a variety of activities such as assisting with tree adoptions, greeting, some phone calls, set up, t-shirt give away, and for those volunteers that speak Spanish they will help us translate our site into Spanish, and much more. We seek enthusiastic people that want to make a difference!
