Mid-Am Board of Directors Elects its First Female President

The Mid-America Horticultural Trade Show (Mid-Am) has elected Barbara Rosborough (Rosborough Partners, Libertyville, Ill.) its first woman president of the board of directors.
The Mid-Am Board comprises representatives from its three sponsoring organizations: the Illinois Green Industry Association (IGIA), the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA), and the Wisconsin Green Industry Federation (WGIF).

Other Elected Officers
Bill Vogel of Spring Valley Turf Products (Jackson, Wis.) was elected vice president and reappointed to serve another three-year term representing WGIF on the Mid-Am Board.

Carsten Hoffmeyer of Hoffie Nursery (Union, Ill.), representing IGIA, was elected secretary.

New to the executive committee is Dave Story (Bartlett Tree Experts, Northbrook, Ill.) He was elected to serve as treasurer and reappointed to serve another three-year term representing ILCA on the Mid-Am Board.
