With nearly every body of water on the planet showing traces of pesticide contamination, Saginaw County, Mich. is doing their part to help heal the environment by safely collecting and dispose of pesticides and herbicides from any greenhouse, nursery, golf course, farm, homeowner or other end user of pesticides.
Drop-off days are Aug. 31, Sept. 28, and Oct. 26 across from HealthSource Saginaw at 3340 Hospital in Saginaw Township. The service is available by appointment only and it is recommended that appointments be made up to three days before the scheduled drop-off day. Have a brief description of the item and amount you plan to drop-off.
