Hello, and good welcome, to you and those you know
For Christmas is a' coming, as quickly as the snow
I hope, now, that this finds you, in good health and in good cheer
For this is always, always, the best time of the year

It's time to bundle up, and get ready for the cold
It's time to gather family, and find someone to hold
It's time to look behind, to see from whence you came
It's also time to look ahead and sharpen up your aim

For Oh One Five is coming fast, it's right around the bend
And no one knows what's coming, or just what next will trend
But whether you're in business, or living off the land
The only thing that's certain, is that change will be at hand

For us that live in landscape, there's more than trees a'growing
And next year surely offers up some green grass for the mowing
It seems the signs are saying, that the trail is climbing higher
So chop some wood, and build a pit, and light yourself a fire

Some growth will be in housing, as people beget more
And some will be in housing, as they open up the door
But not all will be housing, there's more than homes ahead
And don't think that I'm talking, just about the fed

As things begin improving, there's one thing that's for sure
The landscape and its beauty will always draw allure
So more and more, as things get built, there's always in the plan
A way for you to get involved, and help them with the land

Sustainable, regenerate, make the landscape last
These things you do, are now the norm, much different than the past
And while there will be struggle, and dare I say some strife
The challenges define your work, and every others' life

Like how to keep the water, running where it should
Use it, lose it, need or bleed it, where it does most good
It's flooding here, not raining there, my state has all the rights
Take a seat or put on gloves, we're gonna see some fights

So look ahead and join the game, there's lots for you to do
For spring is coming fast my friends, and this one thing is true
That those of you who wait and see, will rarely lead the pack
And trust the ones before you, for they always had your back

The old ones that once led us, that blazed the new found trail
Are leaving you a legacy, one that cannot fail
So many now have left us, but we are not alone
For all they did before us, surely set the tone

They made this business better, and nothing says it more
Than seeing sons and daughters, joining in the store
So thank them now, and understand, that those who went before
Will leave some day and will be missed, and never valued more

So on we march to Oh One Five, the sky is getting brighter
We're moving on, we're setting goals, we're set to be the fighter
Yep on we move, ahead we go, let's offer up a cheer
And have yourself a Merry Christmas, and a Wonderful New Year!!!
