McHale Landscape Design Acquires Green Gardens Inc.
Deal Combines Two Venerable Residential Landscape Companies in the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Area

McHale Landscape Design, a residential landscape architecture design-build firm operating in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia markets, recently announced its strategic purchase of Green Gardens, Inc.

"We have always had the highest regard for Green Gardens and are honored to continue their legacy of providing quality landscape services to some of the most discerning clients and properties around Washington, D.C.," said company president Kevin McHale.

For more than 50 years, Green Gardens has offered residential landscape and maintenance services to a substantial customer base, including clients in northwest Washington D.C., the Maryland towns of Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Potomac, and McLean, Virginia.

The company's principal, John Austin, said, "We are very excited to be able to offer all that McHale brings to our clients."

The partnership brings McHale's locations to five. The company states that new job opportunities will be created in the process.

McHale vice president Steve McHale added, "We're merging two outstanding companies that share deep commitments to excellent customer service, design philosophies, attention to detail, and quality of materials."

Green Gardens has been doing business since 1964 and attests to a "three-step approach to customer satisfaction - practices employed, materials used, and clients served - all carried out by a diverse and skilled group of foremen."
