A Practical, "How-to" Seminar

MADISON, WI

The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Engineering Professional Development introduces the intensive design seminar "Masonry Design and Construction: How to Avoid and Solve Masonry Problems" on January 26-27 for Landscape Architects, masonry engineers, architects, contractors and other industry professionals. This is your opportunity to develop effective masonry design details; explore solutions to existing masonry problems; learn effective maintenance and repair procedures; and participate in a masonry demonstration!

The seminar instructors are experts with many years in masonry design and construction who will share with you their knowledge of causes of masonry failures; masonry systems; construction details; workmanship and quality control; inspection techniques for problem detection; and repair and procedures.
