Massachusetts Watering Ban

Shrewsbury, Massachusetts' current system of odd-even water restrictions has been expanded to include a ban on non-essential outdoor water use from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Non-essential water use is any outdoor use of water except for health and safety reasons, the production of food and fiber and the maintenance of livestock. Lawn watering is prohibited from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Under the odd-even system, even number addresses are able to use water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays; odd-number addresses can use water on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. There is no outdoor water use during any hours on Mondays.
