Masquerading as a Landscape Architect in Israeli

?EUR??,,????'??What?EUR??,,????'???s in a name??EUR??,,????'?? Shakespeare penned. Well, quite a lot, William, at least sometimes.

A fellow by the name of Chanoch Daum recently had a piece published in the Ynetnews, part of Yedioth Group, Israel’s largest media company, that related in a humorous way how he came to impersonate a landscape architect.

He began getting calls asking about various landscape projects in and around Jerusalem. He told the callers they had the wrong Chanoch. One caller explained that Chanoch Daub was a landscape architect.

It?EUR??,,????'???s been proffered that people take the path of least resistance. Daum got tired of telling people he was not that Chanoch and started answering their landscaping questions! He answered questions about the placement of rocks, road parameters and began boning up on landscape architecture on Google, finding the subject fascinating.

He writes that he was even called by ?EUR??,,????'??some of my subordinates from one of the projects?EUR??,,????'?? and asked if he planned to attend the ceremony of a new completed project at which the deputy mayor of Jerusalem would be present.

He sent his regrets that he would not attend.

?EUR??,,????'??With all due respect to what I have learned as a landscape architect, it?EUR??,,????'???s not fair to steal the identity of Chanoch Daub in such an explicit way,?EUR??,,????'?? he writes.

Editor?EUR??,,????'???s note: We?EUR??,,????'???ve contacted the Israeli Association of Landscape Architects to see if indeed said Chanoch Daub is a landscape architect.
