MINNEAPOLIS ?EUR??,,????'??+ The Minnesota Chapter of the ASLA is seeking 3-4 members to sit on a joint AIA/MASLA government affairs committee for 2004. The committee will track proposed legislation, meet with state legislators when needed, and make recommendations to the executive committee on items requiring membership action. MASLA is committed to communicating with state leaders and providing the membership with an added level of service. The first year of this joint venture with AIA Minnesota is designed to provide landscape architects increased exposure to state leaders, and to help educate the membership on the issues affecting the profession. The committee will meet with the executive committee at the end of the first year and make recommendations regarding the proper role for MASLA at the state level, and how to fund efforts.
