Webinar Description:
Public art creates memorable images which will visually communicate a client's persona to the outside world, enhance civic pride for a project, and can influence the area's economic development efforts. It can relate to the past, explore the future, honor an ideal and express one's values to others.

Public art lifts the spirit and transforms the mundane and purely functional world into an arena in which the heart and soul can survive. Much of the same will be said for public works of art being incorporated in your projects by adding beauty to the function of getting from point A to point B or just giving the soul a place to rest. Public art creates way finding points of interest and is instrumental as an element in place making spaces for people to gather. It will reflect a client's vision, the culture of their community, and one's attention to detail.

The implementation of a good art program will provide a stronger identity for your community, separating it from adjacent projects. It can enhance your ability to attract new homeowners and shoppers and create place making spaces which can be used in branding efforts, aid in orientation/way finding efforts, promote cultural tourists' visitations, and provide attractive and interesting public areas for people to gather.
