Webinar Description:
This seminar introduces SFI's Urban and Community Forest Sustainability Standard, designed to help communities achieve sustainable, resilient urban forests. Participants will learn about SFI's mission to advance sustainability through forest-focused collaborations, key components of the Urban and Community Forest Sustainability Standard.

This standard provides communities with a framework to enhance ecosystem health, support biodiversity, and foster community well-being. Attendees will gain insights into how certification works and how it supports sustainable urban forestry efforts, empowering communities to manage their green spaces effectively and contribute to broader environmental and social benefits.

Learning Objectives:
1. How SFI is advancing sustainability through forest-focused collaborations.
2. How the Urban and Community Forest Sustainability Standard can provide communities with a roadmap to enhance ecosystem services.
3. How the Urban and Community Forest Sustainability Standard addresses common landscape concerns and problems.
