Linley for Summit Collection Makes American Debut





British Design House Linley Created First-Ever Outdoor Collection Exclusively for Summit Furniture.

Summit Furniture, Inc., the teak manufacturer best known for creating the luxury outdoor lifestyle, has collaborated with Linley, the British design house, to create its newest collection LINLEY for Summit. This sophisticated range of furniture is made of the finest plantation-grown teak, a sustainable resource and Summit hallmark. This furniture makes its debut stateside in time for the Spring/Summer 2014 outdoor season.

The collection launches with a seating grouping that includes a sofa, lounge chair and coffee table. a chaise lounge, occasional table, dining table and dining chairs will be added. The collection marks the company's first foray into outdoor furniture, which has been designed exclusively. "We are thrilled to partner with Summit," said David Linley, founder and chairman. "They are the only fine teak manufacturer we considered for this new endeavor. We are confident their expertise will result in industry accolades and a very satisfied clientele."

Summit has long-standing relationships with award-winning designers including John Munford, Mark Anders, Alwy Visschedyk and Charles Verey, to name but a few. "When David Linley approached us to produce their first outdoor teak collection, we were extremely excited," said Jane Sieberts, president of Summit Furniture. "Between their V.I.P. relationships and connections and our international clientele, we are expecting big things from this collection in the elite world of the super yacht, as well as in the prominent world of the global jet set."
