Training Session Announced

SCOTTSDALE, AZ

Landscape Contractors interested in advancing their knowledge of landscape lighting-- particularly in lighting water features, sculpture, commercial and residential designs-- may benefit from a winter lighting session sponsored by the Lighting Research Center. The Lighting Research Center (LRC) of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute will offer a Landscape Lighting Institute this winter, which will address the need for practical and comprehensive instruction in landscape lighting. Similar to last year's successful Landscape Lighting Institute, these intensive sessions combine classroom instruction, hands-on evaluation of products, and design projects with evaluations of landscape lighting installations. Landscape Contractors, lighting specifiers, landscape architects, lighting designers and garden designers will gain extensive experience with landscape lighting design, construction techniques and products. All sessions will be led by LRC Senior Lighting Designer Janet Lenox Moyer, IES, IALD, an internationally recognized designer and instructor in the landscape lighting field.

The LRC session in Scottsdale, Arizona (December 15-20, 1998) will take place on the Hyatt Resort's 640 acres, and is designed for those who wish to advance their knowledge in commercial landscape lighting, lighting water features, plants, pathways, and sculpture.
