The IALD Education Trust announces 2005 scholarship information is now available on the IALD website - www.iald.org . Scholarship applications are due to IALD headquarters by February 1, 2005. The IALD Education Trust offers multiple scholarships every year in amounts ranging from $500 to $5000 for undergraduate and graduate students involved in the study of architectural lighting design. Last year the IALD Education Trust Fund awarded over $17,000 in scholarships.
Applicants must be students who are pursuing architectural lighting design as a course of study. The students will be judged on grades, extracurricular activities, a written statement about a personal experience with lighting as well as professional recommendations.
