Licensure Exam Changes

Nevada students of Landscape Architecture may only be required to take the design portions of the licensure exam prior to graduation.
Proposals to change portions of the experience requirements for licensure in Nevada are going before the Nevada State Legislature this session. The Nevada State Board of Landscape Architects has proposed a Landscape-Architect-in-Training designation for recent graduates from an accredited Landscape Architecture program. Among other things, this designation will allow new graduates to take the non-design portions of the exam following graduation. No changes to the overall requirements for professional experience have been proposed. The legislation is expected to pass without a hitch.
