Vermeer Manufacturing Company recently announced the addition of Steve Heap to its executive management team. Heap will lead the global initiative as newly named senior director of international sales and operations. He is a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University and started with Vermeer in 1996.

Rain Bird Corporation announced the promotions of Barbara Booth to group director and Michael Roberts to director of its golf Strategic Business Unit (SBU). Booth earned both a bachelor?EUR??,,????'???s degree and a MBA degree from UCLA. Roberts was also selected to oversee Rain Bird?EUR??,,????'???s product research center.

Glenda Single has joined AMC Industries to lead the company?EUR??,,????'???s expansion into the Dallas / Fort Worth market. A longtime advocate of contractors and water efficiency in Texas, Single has been active in the efforts of the Irrigation Association and the Houston Golf Coast Irrigation Association. She brings over 20 years of experience as an irrigation contractor and consultant to her new position at AMC.

Savio Engineering, Inc. has moved its base of operations to a new, larger building in Albuquerque, N.M. The new facility at 44,000 square feet is more than double the size of Savio?EUR??,,????'???s previous facility. The move allows Savio to consolidate its corporate offices, currently housed in a 19-story bank building in the downtown area with its warehouse and assembly operations.
