Doosan Infracore America, a corporation responsible for all North American sales, service, and technical support for Doosan Daewoo heavy construction equipment and lift tricks, announced the appointment of John M. Vandy as president and COO of the North American Construction Equipment Division.

Gerry Fleisher and Amy Hayden have both been promoted within the management team at Quest Technologies, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of industrial hygiene, occupational safety and environmental instrumentation. Fleisher has been promoted to Director, North American Sales in addition to his responsibilities as Manager, Global Sales Support. Hayden has been appointed as Manager, Marketing Services and will be operationally responsible for advertising, market research and e-commerce activities.

Ingersoll Rand, an industrial firm, has appointed David Rowles president of Bobcat Americas, a division of Bobcat Company. Rowles has nearly twenty-nine years of experience with Ingersoll Rand, who has its headquarters in West Fargo, N.D. He most recently served as president of utility equipment for construction technologies.

Jennifer Sewell has been appointed as a manager at Ewing?EUR??,,????'???s 159th facility in Suwanee, Ga. Prior to joining Ewing, a source for water management and conservation solutions, Sewell was an assistant branch manager at Central Irrigation Supply. She has also served as an executive administrator to the director of irrigation and a branch manager at Stovall & Co.

The American Society of Consulting Arborist (ASCA) announced Donald H. Godi, FASLA has achieved the status of Registered Consulting Arborist complimenting his accomplishments as an Honorary Member of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado (ALCC).

The Toro Company, a provider of outdoor beautification products, support services and integrated solutions, announced the realignment of its leadership. Dennis Himan is promoted to group vice president with responsibility for several divisions. Bill Brown is now leading Toro?EUR??,,????'???s dealer business as vice president consumer business and landscape contractor business (Toro brand). In addition, Philip Burkart, vice president irrigation businesses, is broadening his responsibilities to include micro-irrigation for North and South America in addition to golf and residential / commercial irrigation.

Travis Mitchell has been appointed as a manager of Ewing?EUR??,,????'???s new facility in Tallahassee, Fla. Prior to this, he managed his own estimating company specializing in stone work. Mitchell holds an associate degree in architecture from the ITT Technical Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) which serves manufacturers of construction, agricultural, forestry, mining and utility equipment and industry service providers has elected Lynne Woodworth, President and Chief Executive Officer of Stone Construction Equipment Inc. as Vice-Chairman-Construction.

Charles V. “Chip” Martin has been named as the new Executive Director of the California Landscape & Irrigation Council. Martin succeeds veteran landscape industry executive Joe Brazan, who will be retiring after holding the position for 38 years. Martin has five years experience in a similar position with the California Plumbing & Mechanical Contractors Association.

Eastman Industries announced the addition of Bob Jensen as Director of Sales for the Ingersoll Tractor Company. Jensen brings over 26 years of experience in the Lawn & Garden, as well as Rental / Construction Industries. Prior to this he spent 11 years with Robin America as a Territory Sales Manager.

Manitowoc Crane CARE, a provider of lifting equipment for the global construction industry, has hired Scott Reeves as director of materials management. He will be overseeing Manitowoc’s replacement parts inventory and the rapid response purchasing teams located in Shady Grove, Pa., and Manitowoc, Wis. Reeves has most recently served as director of operations for United Coolair.
