Samuel Salsbury

For his unselfish service to the landscape design profession, Samuel Salsbury, APLD, President of Salsbury-Schweyer, Inc. in Akron, Ohio, was presented the Harry Schuster Service Award at the Association of Professional Landscape Designers 2010 International Design Conference in Dallas. The award is given in honor of Harry Schuster, a founding member of APLD, who mentored many aspiring landscape designers. Known for his energy, enthusiasm, sense of humor and zest for life, the award is given to someone who exemplifies these traits and demonstrates selfless efforts to further the efforts of the APLD organization. Salsbury-Schweyer, Inc. is a nationally acclaimed landscape design & development group known for beautiful, innovative and sustainable landscapes. Salsbury has worked tirelessly on behalf of APLD and the landscape design profession for many years. For nine years, Salsbury served with distinction on the APLD Board of Directors.
