The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute OPEI has expressed concern about how new ethanol blends will impact lawn mowers, chainsaws, and other products.
The OPEI is on the record supporting legislation that mandates a government study of the use of ethanol blends. Questions remain, experts say, about the effect of ethanol fuels on engine wear, maintenance and long-term emissions.
