The $2,000 incentives for purchasing propane-powered mowers and the $1,000 incentives for converting a gasoline model to a propane model will only be offered by the Propane Education and Research Council through March.

The Propane Education and Research Council last year doubled their enticements for purchasing a propane-powered mower or converting a gasoline model to a propane model but time is running out on this offer.

March is the last month that the allowance will be $2,000 for every qualifying purchase and $1,000 for every qualifying conversion. In return for these awards, qualifiers have to report their performance data and cost savings for one mowing season.

PERC reminds that there are a limited number of incentives available, and recommends applying for participation in the Propane Mower Incentive Program before making a purchase of a qualifying mower or conversion kit.
