When it came time to seek out professionals to give the Wilder Recreation Center and City Academy on St. Paul?EUR??,,????'?????<

Vicki Hooper, an architect at HGA Architects and Engineers and an RTTC board member also thought it would be advantageous to involve landscape architects in the process. So she sought out the talents of her HGA colleagues, Ted Lee and Tryg Hansen, to lead the design effort.

Development of Phase I

Ted and Tryg then went to work incorporating the program elements into a well-conceived Master Plan. After this was approved by RTTC and the City of St. Paul they went on to develop the Phase I design/build documents to be implemented during volunteer week. Other efforts included the coordination of construction supplies. The Master Plan includes a plaza, fitness stations, badminton courts, rain gardens and native plantings.
