Eric Wahl

Eric Wahl, landscape architect at Element Design Group in Lewes, Del. was recently elected as president of the Delaware Native Plant Society. In addition, he will be instructing two new certificate programs at Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown, Del.: landscape design and native plant identification. A graduate of Temple University's BSLA program, Wahl has worked in the fields of landscape architecture and site design for over 20 years.

Bruce Hazzard

 

Bruce Hazzard, president and CEO of Design Management LLC in Asheville, North Carolina, has agreed to become president of Caicos Resorts, Ltd. CRL is the developer of the Amanyara Resort & Villas in Turks & Caicos Islands, British West Indies. He will provide oversight and strategic planning for the final phases of build-out of the resort and other remaining ancillary projects in the region while also maintaining ongoing operations in North Carolina.

Mark Fisher

TO Design, LLC, a New Britain, Connecticut-based landscape architecture firm, has promoted Mark Fisher to principal. Fisher, who started as a draftsman and rose through the ranks at TO Design, has been a dedicated team member for over 14 years. His commitment and creativity have helped position our company as a leader in the design of municipal, school, and affordable housing projects.

Xie Tracz

Xie Tracz has been hired as a landscape designer and urban planner with Schrickel, Rollins and Associates. She recently graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a dual masters in landscape architecture and city/regional planning. At SRA, Xie is working on city-wide and individual park master plans, city/town branding, streetscape enhancements, multi-use trail systems, athletic complexes, and passive parks. Dwight Taylor has been hired as a landscape architect with the firm. He is a Texas registered landscape architect with over 30 years of experience in planning, design, management, and marketing for public and private sector projects. Taylor is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a member of ASLA.

Recently, the Architerra board of directors have appointed Christine Zataveski as director of marketing for this 30-year firm of landscape architects, located in southeastern Pennsylvania. Zataveski has been an employee since 2006. Now in an administrative capacity, she has been charged with building a professional media and social network presence.
