Orlando's oldest landscape architectural practice, Foster Conant & Associates, is celebrating 40-year anniversaries for two of its employees this month. Richard Conant, president, and Donna McCurdy, business manager, have both been employed with the firm for 40 years. In today's constantly changing environment, it's unusual to find employees with such tenure. They both started working at the firm in 1973, shortly after the firm's incorporation in 1969. In the past four decades, they have survived three recessions, enjoyed relationships with many great clients, designed numerous challenging projects, worked with many delightful colleagues, seen incredible changes in technology, and amassed a wealth of knowledge and history for both the firm and the central Florida area.
