Tara Rasmussen has joined Browning Day Mullins Dierdorf Architects as a graduate landscape architect. Rasmussen graduated in 2005 from Ball State University with a Bachelor in Landscape Architecture with a concentration in business.
Jeff Davis, president of JDavis Architects, PLLC, a full-service architecture, landscape architecture and interior design firm, has announced that the Chavis Heights Redevelopment received the 2008 Urban Stewardship Award at the City of Raleigh Environmental Awards. The Stewardship award recognizes a volunteer individual or organization engaged in a community building or conservation. The award, one of 10 given for sound environmental stewardship in Raleigh, was presented during a ceremony held in the Marbles Kids Museum.

Evans, Jr., ASLA, on Hilton Head Island in 1988, the firm also has offices in Atlanta, Ga. and Tallahassee, Fla. WPi acquired the Atlanta landscape architecture firm, Altamira Design and Common Sense, Inc., founded by Harry Housen, ASLA, who remains as Partner-in-Charge of the Atlanta office.

Officials with the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) announced Asian Attractions Expo 2009 would be held in Seoul, South Korea. The Asian Attractions Expo is the largest trade show and conference for the attractions industry in Asia. It will take place at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul, June 10-12, 2009.
