Movers & Shakers November 2011: Robert R. Cardoza, Leslee A. Temple, & Linda Forde
NUVIS Architectural Landscaping and Planning announces three promotions.
Robert R. Cardoza, FASLA has moved from company president to CEO. Cardoza established the firm in 1971 and focuses his energy on the firm’s sustainability, transition strategies, and international business development. Bob provides his leadership skills to the San Juan Capistrano Design Review Committee, Partner’s Circle of Cal Poly Pomona, Rancho Los Cerritos Foundation and as Scholarship Chair of the California Landscape Architecture Student Scholarship Fund.
Leslee A. Temple, FASLA, has taken over as president of NUVIS. As a landscape architect, her design aptitude varies from leisure/recreation pursuits to mixed-use and golf course developments. She served as the 2002 Chair of the Parks, Recreation, and Environment Group for Orange County’s infrastructure report card, a joint effort of the local chapter of ASCE, CalRac, and UCI School of Engineering.
Linda Forde, LEED-AP, has been promoted to principal. She started with NUVIS in 1998. Linda’s new role will involve developing creative strategies, preparing graphic simulations and exhibits, providing research assistance, creating business-marketing materials, Web content management, and establishing NUVIS’ presence in social media outlets.
