TBG Partners, a landscape architecture and planning firm, has announced the promotion of Amy Benoit, LEED AP, to Associate in the Austin office. Benoit earned her BLA from Louisiana State University in 2000 and has been a member of TBG Partners for over two years.

Landscape architect Michael Urchuk has joined the Raleigh, N.C. office of engineering consulting firm Stantec. Urchuk is a registered landscape architect in Florida and North Carolina and earned his BS in design in landscape architecture from Arizona State University.

LandDesign has promoted Drew J. Taylor, ASLA, AICP to the position of Manager. LandDesign offers urban design, planning, civil engineering and landscape architecture solutions to the public and private sector clients across the globe. Taylor is a graduate of Penn State University and has eight years experience as a landscape architect including this past year at Land Design.

Robert Anderson, ASLA has also been promoted at LandDesign to the position of Associate. Anderson joined LandDesign early this year with eighteen years of experience as a landscape architect. He is also contributing to office-wide training on a range of computer skills.

GreenWorks Landscape Architecture has hired Jason King as a senior landscape architect. King graduated with a BLA and a BS in Environmental Design from North Dakota State University. He joined the firm with 10 years of experience primarily focused on eco-roofs, and sustainable residential, healthcare, institutional and recreational projects.

JJR Board of Directors would like to announce the addition of Cory Gallo. Gallo is a registered landscape architect in the Ann Arbor Studio and has a BLA from Louisiana State University. He is also LEED certified and is the JJR, LEED study group organizer.

Scott Ohm, landscape architect has joined the team at Norris Design, a landscape architecture a planning firm. He received his BLA from the University of Idaho in 1998.

Shakers

Tim Strand has also been hired by Green Works Landscape Architecture as a landscape designer. Strand received an MLA from the University of California at Berkeley and a BS in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan. He is skillful at presentations and facilitates meetings with community groups and other professionals.

Valerie Haynes has received her professional engineer (PE) registration and has been promoted to civil engineer III at ColeJenest & Stone, P.A. She joined the firm in 2005 as a civil designer II. Haynes received her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama.

Green Works Landscape Architecture has hired Robin Craig as a landscape designer. Craig received a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University and a MLA from the University of Virginia. She joins Green Works with 15 years of experience.

Mark McAuley has joined ColeJenest & Stone, P.A. as a civil designer I. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Cole Jenest & Stone, P.A. provides comprehensive land development services, specializing in land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering and urban design.

Alexis Schlemer has also joined HLB in the Los Angeles office as a senior designer. Alexis holds a Brevet de Mairrise from the French Guild Chamber in addition to an Associate of Art Degree for Interior Architectural Design from Santa Monica College where he graduated with honors.

Nuszer Kopatz announces the promotion of Rhonda Dick to firm Principal. She joined Nuszer Kopatz in 2004 as a land planner and registered landscape architect. Today, she manages the firm?EUR??,,????'???s planning studio with 17 years of experience in the industry.

Chris M. Kohrman has been named project designer at MSI. He joined the firm in July 2006, will be responsible for assisting in the planning and design of the firm’s landscape architecture projects. Kohrman earned his BS in landscape architecture in 2006 from Purdue University.
