Yvette Moore

Yvette Moore will be joining the Rockville, Md. office of Burgess & Niple, a full-service engineering firm, as a landscape architect. Moore has several years of experience in landscape architecture and planning, as well as in streetscape design and historical preservation.

Charles V. ?EUR??,,????'??Chip?EUR??,,????'?? Martin has been named as the new Executive Director of the California Landscape & Irrigation Council. Martin succeeds Joe Brazan, who will be retiring after holding the position for 38 years.

Andrea Murtha

Burgess & Niple has also hired Andrea Murtha as a landscape architect. Murtha graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor of fine arts in landscape architecture. She also has a B.A. in art history from Southern Methodist University.

Jamie Walsh, ASLA, has been promoted to the position of associate at Graham Landscape Architecture. She joined the firm in 2004 and is a graduate of Temple University.

Jason Galloway

ColeJenest & Stone, P.A., a provider of comprehensive land development services, specializing in land planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering and urban design, announces the addition of Jason Galloway as a civil designer II. He received a B.S. in engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

 

Donald Godi

Donald H. Godi, FASLA, has achieved the status of registered consulting arborist complementing his accomplishments as a Fellow in the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and an honorary member of the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado (ALCC.)

Marie Schmader

Marie Schmader has received her professional engineer (PE) registration and has been promoted to civil engineer II at ColeJenest & Stone, P.A. The Care of Trees has named Tony Brugger regional manager and operating officer for the Illinois region.

Brian Franco

Horton Lees Brogden Lighting welcomes Brian Franco to the San Francisco office. Franco graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor in architectural engineering. He spent the summer of 2005 as an intern, and is now returning as a full-time designer.

Daniel Woodroffe

TBG Partners, a landscape architecture and planning firm, announces the promotion of Daniel Woodroffe, RLA to principal in the Austin office. Woodroffe graduated in 1998 from Heriot Watt University in Scotland with a MLA degree.

Sean M. Parks

Sean M. Parks has been named operations manager of the new Orlando office of Environmental Services, Inc. (ESI), an environmental consulting firm. Parks is a member of the American Planning Association, the American Society of Landscape Architects, the National Association of Environmental Professional, the Air 7 Waste Management Association, and the Society of Wetland Scientists.

Donald Botkin has joined Bayer Environmental Science as a senior field sales representative in Ohio and Michigan.

Fred Fisher has been named as the safety and training coordinator for the F.A. Bartlett Tree Expert Company’s Midwest Division. He will be located in the company’s Lake Barrington, Ill. office.

Members of the Connecticut Chapter of ASLA (CTASLA), a professional association for landscape architects, have elected Thomas R. Tavella of BSC Group/TerraSphere (Glastonbury) as trustee on its 2006-07 executive committee, the main governing body of the 250-member organization.
