Yvette Moore will be joining the Rockville, Md. office of Burgess & Niple, a full-service engineering firm, as a landscape architect. Moore has several years of experience in landscape architecture and planning, as well as in streetscape design and historical preservation.
Charles V. ?EUR??,,????'??Chip?EUR??,,????'?? Martin has been named as the new Executive Director of the California Landscape & Irrigation Council. Martin succeeds Joe Brazan, who will be retiring after holding the position for 38 years.
Burgess & Niple has also hired Andrea Murtha as a landscape architect. Murtha graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor of fine arts in landscape architecture. She also has a B.A. in art history from Southern Methodist University.
Jamie Walsh, ASLA, has been promoted to the position of associate at Graham Landscape Architecture. She joined the firm in 2004 and is a graduate of Temple University.

Horton Lees Brogden Lighting welcomes Brian Franco to the San Francisco office. Franco graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor in architectural engineering. He spent the summer of 2005 as an intern, and is now returning as a full-time designer.
TBG Partners, a landscape architecture and planning firm, announces the promotion of Daniel Woodroffe, RLA to principal in the Austin office. Woodroffe graduated in 1998 from Heriot Watt University in Scotland with a MLA degree.
