Glen Hunt has been asked to serve as National Chair of the ASLA Residential Committee. The committee is charged with the task of investigating the role Landscape Architects play in current residential design. In forming the committee ASLA has recognized that landscape architecture on a residential scale is unique in many ways and therefore justifies special attention within the profession.
As National Chair, Glen will be coordinating activities of local chapter residential committees throughout the country. He will also continue to serve as chair of the WASLA Residential Committee. Bud Mack, of A-G Sod, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Arizona Landscape Contractors Association. The ALCA created a new feature within the board by having multiple divisional representatives for each category. Bud is accompanied by two others as Divisional Representative for the associate members. The position is an electoral one and has a term of one year.
