Jason MacDonald


Jason MacDonald, a landscape architect in Wade Trim?EUR??,,????'???s municipal services group in Taylor, earned his professional registration. To become registered in Michigan, landscape architects are required to pass the Landscape Architecture Registration Exam, a rigorous five-section exam, and complete an approved program of professional education including three years of work experience under the supervision of a registered landscape architect.

WilsonMiller is proud to announce that John English, P.E., has recently become a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional. Mr. English achieved accreditation by passing an examination administered by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), a branch of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) that established the LEED rating systems

John Dudek


The Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy recently appointed John E. Dudek to the position of vce president of institutional advancement. Mr. Dudek will coordinate the fundraising, marketing and public relations strategies of the Conservancy and improve donor cultivation and corporate sponsorship relationships and revenues. The Conservancy enlisted Ferrari Search Group to lead the national search for this executive level position.

Green Concepts Landscape Architects (GCLA) has moved to Saudi Arabia said Geoff Sanderson GCLA?EUR??,,????'???s principle, we are working on the metropolitan park, part of the proposed open space network, which is an east west park network that connects Jeddah?EUR??,,????'???s waterfront to the mountains on the other side of the city. The part we are working on is 12km and we?EUR??,,????'???re doing that in joint venture with Zuhiar Fayez, a very large consultancy in KSA. We?EUR??,,????'???re also doing three other sizable projects in Riyadh at the moment.






Corky Poster


Architect Corky Poster is retiring as executive director of the Drachman Institute, the outreach arm of the University of Arizona?EUR??,,????'???s College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Poster has long since traded his confrontational tactics for work within the system. His 29-year affiliation with the UA included two stints as acting dean of the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture. He was the first recipient of the UA?EUR??,,????'???s award for Distinguished Professor of Outreach.

Allmand Bros. Inc. announces the addition of Kevin Vinroe as Northwest regional manager. Vinroe?EUR??,,????'???s responsibilities will include promoting Allmand products, working with manufacturer sales representatives and educating customers about equipment.

Keith Beaver, ASLA of Danbury and senior associate of Didona Associates has received his LEED Accredited Professional designation. Keith has been with Didona Associates since 1990. Didona Associates is a landscape architectural firm in Danbury, CT. Also, Derrick Shuhart of Danbury an associate of Didona Associates Landscape Architects has received his LEED Accredited Professional designation and has been with Didona Associates since 2007.






James Penrod


CLARB is pleased to announce that James T. Penrod, CAE has been promoted to CLARB Deputy Executive Director. His new role will focus on creating increased operational efficiency and effectiveness, staff development, and greater sustainability of critical business processes.

David McAlister and Paul Morris have rejoined Parson Brinckerhoff, assuming senior global management positions. Mr. McAlister has been named executive vice president and global director, strategic planning and development. Mr. Morris will provide the thought leadership and technical innovation that clients requireto meet a host of environmental and sustainable development challenges.

Jim Darling, who?EUR??,,????'???s been the executive director of the Port of Bellingham for 15 years, is quitting in July to go to work for a consulting firm. Darling said he?EUR??,,????'???s taking a job as vice president and principal with Maul Foster & Alongi Inc. (MFA) Darling said he?EUR??,,????'???ll staff a new Bellingham office for the environmental, engineering and landscape architecture consulting firm, which has offices in Portland, Seattle and Vancouver, Wash.






Marcus King


Site Solutions, a landscape architecture and civil engineering firm based in Charlotte, NC announced that Marcus J. King, PE, MBA, was recently accredited with two significant professional accomplishments. Mr. King earned both his South Carolina Professional Engineering registration, as well as becoming Site Solutions newest LEED??????oe AP team member.

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services employs an astounding number of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) ?EUR??,,????'??? 121.
