  • Aquatic Wildlife Habitat for NuStar Energy
    The NuStar corporate landscape in San Antonio is a balanced aquatic ecosystem with a "scenic canyon" and a cascading water feature. A rain catchment system provides a 42,000-gallon annual storage capacity.

  • Water Lounge, Spa, Infinity-Edge Pool, Low-Water Use Plantings Complement New San Diego Area Home
    Bold curves and contrasting textures we incorporated into a large entertaining area, including covered porches, a built in curving bar, oversized fire pit, seat walls, raised patio spaces and a 60-ft. pool with fire bowls.

  • Natural Pools
    The water feature incorporates a 12-foot deep pond and grotto, with a bridge over a river that spills into the grotto. The source of the pond's water is an aquifer with a constant temperature of 78 degrees.

  • Duluth Town Green Fountain
    An architectural team from Sizemore Floyd and Jacobs Engineering Group developed a master plan to revitalize a historic downtown Duluth area bypassed by commercial developments. The old space was transformed into a town green with an interactive fountain, amphitheater, bandstand, restaurant, park and a new city hall.

  • The Fountain at Bon Secours Heart Institute, a Richmond, Virginia Landmark
    The fountain design addressed a steep grade change, parking lot screening, and creating an identity for the institute. A 10-foot tall cast-in-place concrete retaining wall with a 40-foot wide waterfall that cascades into three intermediate tiers and a lower pool, all of which are faced with fieldstone.

  • Georgia on His Mind"?uAlbany's Ray Charles Fountain & Plaza
    In 2005, the city of Albany, Georgia, began a campaign to honor legendary musician and native son Ray Charles with a monument. The city hoped to make this tribute a part of their newly developed RiverFront Park, a gateway to downtown Albany covering the equivalent of two blocks on the banks of the Flint River.

    The team created four separate patio levels centered on a two-sided fireplace and dramatic invisible-edge pool. From above, the pool creates a dramatic invisible edge that carries over into a kinetic wall of water to offer relaxing, ambient sound.

    Just northwest of Washington D.C. in Georgetown, Crystal, an international water feature specialist, helped regenerate Washington Harbour with a spectacular modern fountain.
