Hitchcock Design Group, a leading provider of planning and landscape architectural services in the Midwest, has promoted Craig Farnsworth and Joel Baldin to principals in their Chicago office and Andy Howard and Sheila Bushong to principals in their Naperville, Ill. office. When Farnsworth joined the firm in 2004, he made an immediate and lasting impact in the company's planning, design and graphic communications capabilities. Since then, he has used his extensive experience, widely-recognized graphic skills, and keen eye for detail to help his clients add long-term value to their land resources. Baldin joined Hitchcock Design Group in 2005, specifically to help launch its Chicago office and add dedicated client relations and business development talent to the expansion and helped the firm establish long-term partnership's with the Chicago Park District. Howard began his career with the firm in 1996. Since then, he has focused on recreation planning and design, helping pioneer the firm's unique approach to play and its prominence in the recreation marketplace. Bushong joined Hitchcock Design Group in 2004 as business manager and continues in that role. She manages and streamlines all aspects of project and company finance, human and facilities resources. She also co-manages the company's IT resources, and has helped launch offices in Chicago and Indianapolis.

Design Concepts, a landscape architecture firm, has promoted Dave Peterson to associate. He joined the firm in 2004 as a landscape architect and has helped grow the firm's comprehensive GIS mapping capabilities for master planning and parks and recreation planning projects. His expertise helps measure community assets, socio-economic attributes, and gap areas through customizable analysis.

Wood+Partners Inc. has welcomed back Brad Tackett as senior project manager. He joins the Tallahassee office with over 15 years of experience and is a registered landscape architect in Mississippi. A 1999 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, Tackett's professional experience includes extensive project coordination and management experience in all aspects of land design and project development.
