Elena M. Pascarella

Elena M. Pascarella, principal of Landscape Elements LLC was presented with the 2011 Award of Excellence in Beautification for the New London Historic District Gateways project. The Connecticut Main Street Beautification Award Category requires that entries feature attractive structural and landscaping improvements that enhance the physical environment and help to foster civic pride. Pascarella graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BLA and did graduate studies in historic landscape preservation at the University of Virginia. She worked for more than 10 years in the public sector as senior landscape architect at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management.
