Rhodeside & Harwell Incorporated, a landscape architecture and planning firm known nationally for its work with historic parks, riverfront settings, and sustainable design and revitalization in urban areas, has announced the establishment of a permanent office in downtown Newark, N.J. The firm, which is based in Alexandria, Va., has maintained a project office in Newark for five years and has completed numerous design projects in the region. Faye Harwell, FASLA, serves as managing partner for the office. Harwell, along with key staff including associates David Carro and Aaron Feldman-Grosse, has overseen a number of major projects in Newark and throughout the New York and New Jersey metropolitan area.
