WhiteWater West Industries has appointed Paul Chutter as vice president, sales operations/corporate development. In this position, Chutter will be central to the ongoing strategic development and operational management of the company's sales team. He brings a financial and legal background to his new role. Chutter began his career in corporate finance, working as a mergers and acquisitions advisor for the Bank of Nova Scotia. For the past five years he has served as director of institutional equity sales for UBS Investment Bank in London, England and Toronto, where he dealt with CEOs from some of Canada's largest corporations and Europe's largest financial institutions.

 




Magued Barsoum



Magued Barsoum recently joined Miller Legg in its central Florida office landscape architecture department as landscape designer/planner and will be involved in a variety of public and private sector landscape architecture, irrigation and hardscape design projects throughout Florida. Barsoum earned a master of landscape architecture from Florida International University in 2013. He also is LEED AP certified with the specialty of neighborhood development. He is an associate member of ASLA and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

 




Marty Mee



Quick Crete Products welcomed the newest addition to their magnificent outside sales team, Marty Mee. He attended Drexel University in Philadelphia and graduated with a degree in materials engineering. After working a few years in engineering he decided to take his technical acumen jump into sales. Mee has since redeveloped three poor performing territories with his previous company over the last 10 years. He is known as a team player and a company guy with a 13 year tenure with only one company after college.

 




Laura Schatzman



Laura Schatzman has joined the Planning Design Studio team as an Urban and Landscape Designer. she received her masters of landscape architecture from University of Illinois in 2013. Schatzman earned a Bachelors of arts in theater arts from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Before joining PDS, she acquired a variety of experience on the design of greenways, pedestrian plazas, parks and landscape design projects.

IrriGreen, Inc., developer and manufacturer of the IrriGreen Genius• Irrigation System, announced that three business executives have joined its board of directors. The three new board members are Jack Judd, Carl Hung and Andy Vander Woude. Judd is chief financial officer of Proto Labs, Inc. He previously served as CFO for both Compellent Technologies and ATS Medical. He has an MBA and a bachelor's degree in accounting, both from St. Thomas University. Hung is president and chief operating officer of Season Group International Co. With headquarters in Hong Kong, Season Group is a global, vertically integrated electronics manufacturing services provider. Hung has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. He graduated from the University of British Columbia with a bachelor's degree in finance. A technology executive and entrepreneur in Los Angeles, Vander Woude was the co-founder and chief executive officer of VAST Enterprises. VAST pioneered and patented materials science technologies that transform recycled tires and plastics into a composite material.

RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture, a 32-year old firm with offices in Austin and Houston, announced today that it has acquired the Dallas-based landscape architecture firm of Newman, Jackson, Bieberstein. For both firms, the acquisition represents a return to their roots. RVi CEO Bob Richardson, NJB president Rowland Jackson and NJB senior vice president Karl Von Bieberstein all worked together previously under the firm of MND Partners in the 1970s and 1980s. Richardson left MND to start his own practice in 1982, while Jackson and Von Bieberstein remained with MND and eventually reorganized the firm under the NJB name in 1990. In addition to his role as president, Jackson has served as director of design at NJB, working with many prominent clients such as the Dallas Arboretum and Baylor University Medical Center. Von Bieberstein has served as NJB's senior vice president of company operations and has led the firm's long history of work for Texas Christian University. RVi project director Paul Cozzolino has been tapped to lead the integration effort in Dallas. He will begin work immediately alongside Jackson and Von Bieberstein, who will retain their leadership roles as officers and principals in the firm. A Dallas native, Cozzolino also has a history with NJB, having worked as an intern in their office on multiple occasions throughout college. Cozzolino is a graduate of Texas A&M University's landscape architecture program.
