American Society of Golf Course Architects welcomed Cynthia Dye McGarey, Richard Mandell and Kevin Norby as new associate Members to its ranks at the group?EUR??,,????'???s 66th annual meeting in Chattanooga, Tenn. The elections include them among the more than 175 ASGCA members who practice around the world. McGarey is principal designer with Dye Designs Group in Englewood, Colo., with an office in Shenzhen, China. Mandell is president of Richard Mandell Golf Architecture in Southern Pines, N.C. Norby is an owner of Herfort Norby Golf Course Architects in Chaska, Minn. Bob Cupp, ASGCA Fellow, was elected president of the organization. Cupp heads Bob Cupp, Inc. in Atlanta. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami and a Masters in Fine Arts from the U.S. Army Extension Service. He has more than 40 years as a golf course architect.
