For almost 25 years, Stoneridge Design Inc. has worked in Pennsylvania providing landscape architecture, architecture, and horticultural services while partnering with local suppliers like Dave Russel of Russel Brothers (left). Founder Regis Zapatka PLA, RA, Hort, believes in the goodness of relationships in business.

Stoneridge Design, Inc. is a landscape architecture, architecture, design/build firm that has been in operation for nearly 26 years.
The photo is of myself and Dave Russel, whose family Russel Brothers has been a supplier of my business for nearly 26 years. The photo I believe emphasizes several important aspects of business, namely the goodness of relationships in business. Suppliers, contractors, clients, and employees can become part of an extended family of goodness, truth, and beauty. This is essential to all business.
Sadly, Dave's family business - given the trials of many small businesses - closed its doors in March 2025 after over 100 years supplying customers in Western Pennsylvania.
I hope and believe this entry will be meaningful to my brother and sister Landscape Architects and our profession.
