Marron Hill, Litchfield, Conn.

This 20-acre private estate is situated on a hillside with panoramic views of Litchfield Center and the New York hills beyond. A large outdoor terrace runs along the back of the house with a dramatic stone and boulder waterfall cascading down the hillside to a lower outdoor living area with a spa and fireplace. Extensive plantings, including several specimen trees, add beauty to the site. Richter & Cegan worked closely with Soyster Taylor Design Architects on this project.
