Camden Garden Amphitheatre, Library Grounds & Harbor Park, Camden, Maine

From 1997 to 2006, Heritage Landscapes planned and implemented projects to preserve and revitalize the Camden Library Grounds and Amphitheatre, designed by Fletcher Steele (1928-1931), and the adjacent Harbor Park, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr.'s firm (1930-1935). The final project restored the Fauns Garden sculpture, pool and plantings, and installed Steele's Compass of the Winds, 75 years after it was approved.
