Bruce John Riddell designed signature garden planting plans, custom stone benches, waterfalls, and unique stonework at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, Maine. The design includes a Japanese-inspired Vayo Meditation Garden with a hillside amphitheater with large quarried stone. There are also hillside, entry and rose gardens, plus a great lawn and ceremonial and event lawns.

Bruce designed and helped construct a 20-foot picturesque waterfall made of a series of large slab granite basins for the Giles Rhododendron Garden. The falls plunge into a reflecting pool.
