Loyola University, founded in 1852, is a Jesuit school with over 6,000 students, 80 percent of which reside on campus. For over a decade, Hord Coplan Macht has been the campus landscape architect, creating master plans, site and landscape designs. HCM has come to be part of the Loyola family, collaborating with academic faculty, administrative staff, facilities managers, building and grounds committees and students, plus facilitating communication between the college and its neighbors. West Shore Park, Baltimore
Baltimore?EUR??,,????'?????<
Over three acres in size, West Shore Park provides much needed downtown green space. A large lawn is perfect for events. Vendor pavilions, a variety of sitting areas, horticultural gardens and an interactive fountain are additions. The park is above the harbor promenade, with an animated edge offering a variety of seating and overlooks. The recently installed interactive fountain has become a major attraction, with children and adults drawn to the ever changing, multicolored water jets.
