Las Vegas Water Restrictions Now In Effect

Those who don't comply with the mandatory restrictions could face a fee of up to $320 for the first violation. Property owners are now allowed to water three days per week. Groups A, C and E should water on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while groups B, D and F can water on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Landscape professionals (and homeowners) can find out which group they belong to by using the SNWA website. The schedule does not apply to owners with drip irrigation systems, who are allowed to water on any day so long as they do not water more than three days per week. Spring watering rules cover the months of March and April. The summer schedule - which runs from May to August - includes tighter restrictions on sprinkler use. More information can be found online.
