The reports comes from Staffing Industry Analysts’ 2007 Temporary Jobs Guidebook, which will be consulted by Fortune 1000 and temporary staffing companies on how to make decisions about how to purchase and supply labor.

The Guidebook analyzes that as the demand for skilled occupations continues to rise, “employers can expect rising prices for skilled temporary help and longer waits to find these workers.”

The Guidebook highlights that landscaping and grounds keeping are among fastest growing occupations. There are nearly 1 million temporary landscaping and grounds keeping workers in the U.S. That number is increasing at roughly five times the rate of U.S. employment in general.
