The Texas Nursery & Landscape Association (TNLA) Texas Excellence in Landscaping (TEIL) Awards were presented at the Association’s Awards Dinner, January 19, 2007, in Sugar Land, Texas. The TEIL Awards program recognizes excellence in landscape design, installation, and maintenance. Presenting the awards was TNLA Chairman of the Board, Tom Dickerson. Co-Masters of ceremonies for the event were TNLA State Landscape Directors, Mark Harris, TCLP, of Harris Landscape, Inc. in Houston and James Wilhite, TCLP, of Wilhite Landscape and Lawn Care in Tyler.
Awards are presented in several categories and on three levels of recognition starting with the Bronze, moving to Silver, Gold, and a special TNLA Grand Platinum Award.
