TEMPE, Ariz. ?EUR??,,????'??? The Desert Botanical Garden?EUR??,,????'???s Desert Landscaper Certification Program has formed an educational partnership with Phoenix College. Students enrolled in the program now receive seven credit hours upon completion of the Garden?EUR??,,????'???s 10-month Desert Landscaper Certification Program. The Program is offered in both English and Spanish, and costs $1,250, which includes all classes, training manual and associated materials. The DLS Certification Program, developed in 1996 has utilized the Garden?EUR??,,????'???s resources to train students in desert life forms, basic botany, soils, fertilizers, plant pests and diseases, IPM, pesticide safety, landscape design, installation and maintenance.
