For Highland Park, Texas (pop. 8,564), about three miles north of downtown Dallas, 2013 marks the city's centennial year. In honor of its 100th year, Lambert Landscape and Moore Tree Care, its subsidiary, donated and planted a gorgeous live oak for Highland Park.

While Mother Nature brought an ice storm through the area about the time of the planting, the schedule was kept, the tree planted and the dignitaries on hand.
