The CEO of Lambert Landscape Co. and its affiliate Moore Companies, Dan Morgan, has been elected to the Dallas area Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors.
Mr. Morgan has been with Lambert’s for 27 years and is one of the firm’s owners. He is known in the landscape industry for his strong operational and production experience, qualities that made Morgan a logical choice for the board.
Habitat for Humanity is celebrating its 25th year of transforming neighborhoods and communities throughout the Dallas area.
Lambert began its affiliation with the Dallas chapter of Habitat for Humanity in 2010 with a donation of plants that graced the stage for its annual Core Volunteer Dinner. Next came the lead sponsorship of the ICA (Institute of Classical Architecture) & CA (Classical America) Dream Home Competition. This year, Lambert’s main project is designing and installing the landscape for two of the inaugural homes, homes designed to be affordable, architecturally interesting, and sustainable.
Days of Service for all employees of Lambert’s and its subsidiaries, Moore Tree Care, Moore Life Organic Plant Health Care and Moore Commercial Landscape Management, include partnering with students from Highland Park High School and Bishop Lynch in two days of prep, painting and landscaping.
Mr. Morgan is a former director and long-standing member of the Stemmons Corridor Business Association, which focuses on community affairs and public education. He also serves on the Better Business Bureau Board and the Hope Medrano Elementary School Board of Friends.
